Candy A to Z: Quick Blast Sour Candy Spray

April 05, 2018

Not only does Quick Blast Sour Candy Spray have the distinction of being our store's only "Q" candy, it's also one of the unique and unusual liquid candies we stock.

You're probably familiar with our most famous liquid candy, the classic Nik-L-Nip, better known to some as "wax bottles," but if this is the only liquid candy you've tried, you're missing out! We have a great assortment of sweet and sour liquids, gels and sprays that just might change the way you consume candy forever!

Quick Blast is really unique because you get to squirt the sour, fruit-flavored candy out of a mini fire extinguisher directly into your mouth. Is it unconventional? Totally. Is it super fun? You bet! Try each of the three colorful flavors, and see who can survive the most sour!

Jimmy Sweet Tooth says: This was a totally new experience for me, and I had no idea what to expect. Was I accidentally going to blast a jet of candy straight down my throat? Or worse, up my nose somehow? The good news is that the little fire extinguisher is pretty easy to handle and, rather than an aggressive jet of candy, just produces a gentle mist. The better news is that it tastes great! The initial spray seems almost flavorless, but when you close your mouth you find it filled with a fruity flavor. It actually does taste pretty similar to that sweet, syrupy juice that collects at the bottom of the plastic tube popsicles you got after your soccer games as a kid. The Green Apple Burst flavor that I tried was a little on the tart side, but was overall much sweeter than I expected from a candy advertised as "sour." I think both the "sweet" and "sour" crowds will be equally happy with this one!
