You've gotta love a snack that can give you a laugh in addition to satisfying your sweet craving. That's exactly what you get with Laffy Taffy: the soft and chewy candy with jokes printed on the wrapper. It might seem like a simple gimmick, but just like the Bazooka Joe Comics of the 'olden days' (pre-2012, to be more precise; today, Bazooka Bubble Gum has brain-teasers inside) or the inspirational sayings printed inside Dove Chocolate wrappers, Laffy Taffy's goofy riddles are as much a part of this product's identity as the super-chewy texture and the wild fruit flavors. Are we biased because the adorably bad jokes remind us so much of our own Jimmy Sweet Tooth's punny sense of humor? Possibly. But even if you're not a fan of the silliness on the wrapper, we know you won't be able to resist the mouthwatering morsel inside. (And we bet you'll read the joke aloud to your whole office anyway, just to hear the collective groan.)

Laffy Taffy tastes great, and there's such a huge variety that no matter what your favorite fruit is, I can almost guarantee that Laffy Taffy is available in that flavor. I'm 99% certain that I've never met anyone who doesn't like Laffy Taffy! I was also surprised to learn that Laffy Taffy has been around since the 70s. I grew up in the late 80s and early 90s, but I don't remember hearing about Laffy Taffy until high school (maybe I just wasn't as cool back then...).

Suggested uses: Laffy Taffy is great for any party where there will be middle- or high- school-aged kids. It's totally their thing. This means Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceaneras, Sweet 16 parties and school dances are all great places to offer Laffy Taffy. The mini versions are great for filling pinatas or stockings, and they can be a fun take-along on a road trip or hike (just make sure they don't get too hot, and put those wrappers in the trash, not on the side of the trail or highway!).
