There's no mention of it on the Pearson's Candy website, but it's possible that a time machine is used in the manufacture of Bun Bars. Jimmy Sweet Tooth says: "I tried the Maple variety which, I believe, is the original. There is definitely a strong, toasty peanut smell as soon as you open the wrapper. Can't say that I've experienced that before, and it's pretty cool! The maple is very subtle, but I don't mind that at all. All of the ingredients are balanced pretty perfectly. It's almost like a homemade approximation of a Snickers bar. It's very, very tasty!"
