Instructions
Using the stick of the Tootsie Pop, poke a hole through the center of the styrofoam ball. (If the ball is too dense, you can use a knitting needle, or similar sharper object.) Slide the Tootsie Pop stick through the hole. When you reach the wrapper, twist the wrapper tightly around the stick and then twist the ball in the same direction as the wrapper to twist it over the wrapper.
Use the hot glue or craft glue to attach the googly eyes, small pink pom pom, and two small pom poms to make the face. (Note: if you use craft glue, you will need to hold the pieces in place until they set.)
Using our template, trace the feet shape onto the white craft foam and cut them out.
Glue the foam feet to the bottom of the Tootsie Pop (the wrapped end).
With the end of the pipe cleaner, make a loop about 2" long for the first ear (or use our template to shape), and twist the end to secure it. Repeat to make the second ear.
Poke the ends of the pipe cleaner ears into the styrofoam ball and reshape the ears if necessary.
Glue the large white pom pom onto the back of the Tootsie Pop wrapper to make the tail.
Glue two medium white pom poms onto each side of the Tootsie Pop wrapper to make the front paws.
Tie a ribbon around the ears to make a "girl bunny" or around the neck to make a "boy bunny." Alternatively, you can make the bow first and glue it in place.
April 21: National Chocolate Covered Cashew Day
It’s not known who initiated the creation of National Chocolate Covered Cashew Day, but boy were they a genius. If you're a fan of cashews and chocolate, take advantage of this day to enjoy these gems.
April 22: National Jelly Bean Day
Jelly beans first appeared in America in the mid-1860s. Forming candy into familiar shapes has always been common, and the bean shape was no exception. Jelly beans are a regular Easter treat, but at All City Candy, you can enjoy them all year round.
