Candy + heat = tricky business 🍫☀️ We take extra care when shipping meltable candy, but warm weather can still impact your order. Please review the information below before placing your order.

Warm weather shipping notice

Chocolate, gummies, and other heat-sensitive candy may soften or melt in warm temperatures. Melt protection is strongly recommended during warm weather.

How We Protect Your Order

We take extra steps to help minimize melting during transit, including:

  • Insulated thermal packaging
  • Frozen ice packs
  • Sealed packaging to reduce heat exposure
  • Shipping schedules designed to avoid weekend delays

Orders with melt protection typically ship Monday–Wednesday to help avoid packages sitting in transit over the weekend.

Melt Protection Options

You may select melt protection on eligible product pages or at checkout:

  • No Protection – Ships without temperature control
  • Ice Pack Protection – Added cooling for short transit times
  • Insulated Cooler – Best protection for hot climates and larger orders

Melt protection is charged once per order, even if selected on multiple items.

Best practices for warm weather shipping

• Choose 2-day shipping or faster
• Ship to a business or attended address
• Avoid delivery locations where packages may sit outside
• Order early in the week (Monday–Wednesday)

What to Expect

Your candy may arrive soft during warm weather. This is normal and does not mean it is damaged.

When your order arrives

Bring your package inside promptly and allow candy to rest at cool room temperature before handling.

Do not refrigerate or freeze, as this can affect texture and quality.

About Ice Packs

  • Ice packs may arrive warm — this is normal
  • They worked to protect your candy during transit
  • You are welcome to reuse them

While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee candy will not melt in transit during warm weather.

We do not offer refunds or replacements for melting.

Orders left outside or exposed to heat after delivery are not covered.
