I use to eat this as a child and found it on this site. Great 👍 childhood memory.
If you liked Euclid Beach taffy you'll like this vanilla taffy.
Whether you call it Taffy or Salt-Water Taffy this is my favorite. Actually, the label "salt-water" was just a marketing ploy as there is only taffy. :)
I love the vanilla and it hasn't changed a bit. I must say that I have never loved the "Smack it. Crack it" slogan which is what you need to do to break it into small pieces. Well, put it in the fridge and you can break it by bending it.
Two warnings though.
The first is don't let it get warm or else it will melt and become difficult to remove from the wrapper. But even then it's not a reason to stop loving it.
The second is that if you are afraid of your dental work, such as crowns, bridges, etc make sure you don't eat too much at one time.
Or don't eat it because it will be hard to refrain from stuffing your mouth.
