A favorite Haribo product in Europe, Haribo Ginger-Lemon gummies are only recently available in the U.S. and boy, are we glad. The flavor is slightly tart from the lemon and invigoratingly spicy, thanks to the addition of real ginger concentrate. The result is an authentic-tasting, tangy, spicy gummi that is adored by grown-ups, but not too hot or spicy for littler lovers of Haribo gummi candy.

The Haribo company started making gummi dancing bears back in the 1920s. Hans Riegel began making candy in his kitchen before starting Haribo, which is named for himself and his home town: HA for Hans, RI for Riegel and BO for Bonn, Germany.

Ingredients: Corn syrup, sugar, corn starch, gelatin, lemon juice concentrate, citric acid, malic acid, ginger concentrate, artificial and natural flavors, fruit concentrate (elderberry, orange, lemon), fructose, invert sugar syrup.

A Summer Alternative…

In Winter to take off a chill, I throughly enjoy a nice, hot cup of lemon ginger tea sweetened with honey.
I now have a Summer alternative. Haribo Ginger-lemon gummies. The only thing missing is the honey flavor. Maybe Haribo will read my review and try out a honey sweetened version of this yummy gummy!
As with the tea, the gummies have that ginger warmth with tart lemon to balance the sugar. The candies I’ve order from Allcitycandy.com is fresh with just the perfect texture and fresh taste! I will continue to personally make my choices from A City Candy! It’s nice support a woman owned business.

Ok 1-10 I give them a 5. Could be a little more lemon flavor & a little more softer

I had never seen these before so I was curious to try them. They are super with the tartness of lemon and the slight burn of the ginger. I almost feel healthy eating them. Well not really but they are super.

So Fun!

I have had so much fun going 1,000,000 bills to my family, friends and drive through employees that I frequent. The chocolate arrived in perfect t shape in 90 degree temps. These Sweets brand candies are so good!
